The Stoneybrook Group LLC was established to provide consulting services to the hospital, healthcare and emergency preparedness sectors, especially as those services might benefit from GIS technologies. As Principal Consultant, Ric Skinner contributes more than 35 years of experience in hospital/healthcare geographics, healthcare preparedness, environmental assessment, and GIS.

As an independent consultancy, The Stoneybrook Group is unique in that we have the capacity to draw upon professional and technical expertise through established arrangements with over 200 professionals in health geographics and healthcare preparedness.

The Stoneybrook Group is available for direct consulting, subcontracting, grant collaboration, and project-based temporary/part time opportunities locally, regionally and nationally.

Health Geographics is a term I coined in the mid-1990's to represent the rapidly evolving use of Geographic Information Systems technologies and spatial data in healthcare, health research, health services, hospitals, "hospital-land" security, healthcare preparedness, and environmental health.
